About the Gallery

The public outreach site of the Galactic Atmospheres project

Its objectives are to share the beauty that astronomers discover when exploring the atmospheres of galaxies and to motivate aspiring scientists curious about the basic principles that govern all atmospheres.

The project currently features two web sites. One is this gallery. The other is a forum for scientists who are actively studying galaxies and their atmospheres.
